Summary
This teacher inquiry uses observations, interviews, and questionnaires to examine students’ perceptions of their mistakes, finding that a positive mind-set helps students to relax about mistakes. The project summary reports on what students said or did about their mistakes, outlines on the steps that the teacher took to try promote a more positive mind-set (within design in particular) and explains how the intervention helped, and in what ways it failed.
