The Department is committed to strengthening its contact with local teachers and supporting them in their future careers. The NQT conference will provide the opportunity to:
- exchange ideas and experiences with like-minded colleagues
- learn about new research in your subject
- indulge in discussions of ‘blue sky’ pedagogy that remind you why you are a teacher

The programme can be accessed here: Early Career Development Conference Programme

The conference will consist of a keynote lecture, workshops and a lunch provided by St Anne’s College. The workshops will include opportunities to update your knowledge of the latest educational research both in your subject and in other areas of current interest to schools.

Last year the NQTs who attended said the sessions were “super, rich and well thought through – inspirational”. You can have a look at last year’s programme and see what else the NQTs said here.
