From 4:30pm until 6:00pm

Pupils across the country are increasingly emotionally vulnerable. Consequently, understanding attachment and trauma has become an important strategy for teachers and schools in meeting the needs of these pupils.
The Rees Centre for Research in Fostering and Education invite you to a seminar, based on their research, on the embedding of attachment awareness in over 60 schools in three local authorities around the country. We will outline some of our key findings on how teachers and schools approached this issue, and what challenges and difficulties they faced. We will also be keen to hear your thoughts and comments on these findings.
The event is open to all: school leaders, classroom teachers, teaching assistants, or those in children services.
If you would like to attend please simply email Natalie Reynolds, the Rees Centre Administrator by Monday 17th September: natalie.reynolds@education.ox.ac.uk
