Early Career Teachers’ Professional Development Day 2020

02May2020
15 Norham Gardens

At Department of Education, Oxford University

Sadly, we have taken the decision to cancel this event in light of national and university guidance in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to eliminate all non-essential social interaction. Although the event is still some weeks off, all the indications are that these measures will need to continue for some time and the Deanery has taken the decision to cancel all face-to-face events up to May half-term.

It is a disappointment for us, but we hope that it will be possible to offer a similar event next year.

If you have already registered for this event, you should have heard from us with details of full refund. We apologise for any inconveniences. Safety for teachers and children is our priority.

Some feedback from our delegates in the 2019 conference –

‘The Poster Session was detailed and fascinating with relevance across all subjects.’  ‘It was very interesting and subject specific.’

‘Being a Teacher in the Digital Age was a really important idea about being aware of power / network structures in social spaces. Thank you!’

‘Rethinking our Planning for Inclusive Teaching was inspirational and far-reaching.’
