Kids’ Conference Oxford 2020
From 9:00 until 13:00
At Department of Education
The Deanery is hosting the inaugural Kids’ Conference 2020 in the UK, following the success of events hosted last year by the Australian Catholic University in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney.
Kids’ Conference Oxford 2020 is a unique and exciting opportunity for young people to present their own research to their peers and teachers. All the presentations will be given by primary and secondary students currently enrolled in Oxfordshire schools, focusing on issues chosen by them, within or across subject disciplines, drawing on new and emerging technologies.
You can get a flavour of the event by following this link to a film kindly produced by the Department of Education and Training, Victoria, Australia.
Details for presenters and teacher-facilitators can be found here.
Teachers are welcome to register expressions of interest now, reserving places for up to 5 student presenters and 4 audience participants. You can reserve your presentation slot whilst you are deciding on your project focus and student presenters. Registration closes on 15 June 2020.
