Ensuring the effectiveness of written feedback in MFL

Martyn Delgado

For his Part 2 investigation, Martyn explored students’ views on the written feedback received and what they saw as helpful feedback.

The majority thought the feedback might help them to improve as a language learner. In particular, students preferred individual to group feedback. His recommendation was that teachers should train learners in the process of using feedback and using feedback to make progress.
